A Desire to Innovate

My years as a Hospital Corpsman the Navy gave me an appreciation and awareness for how quickly situations can change and how to effectively adapt to those changes.
After the military, I wanted that same challenge in my career. In drafting school, piping design motivated me to gain skills as a process technician. How everything works in the oil and gas industry is tremendously interesting to me.
The foundation of ICCI is a great group of people. We all have a constant desire to be the innovators of our industry, which makes work interesting and enjoyable. Our collaboration to reach our goals makes me feel like part of a winning team.

Discipline. Integrity. Leadership.

Qualities instilled in my military service are the qualities ICCI looks for in people joining our team.

ICCI’s desire to be technical leaders of the industry makes it a perfect place to apply my skills and training as an engineer. My MS degree in supply-chain logistics is also highly useful in helping the company operate effectively.
I’m from Viet Nam, but the company has welcomed me into its ranks like I was a son.

There is so much to like about being a member of the ICCI team. The company encourages and supports continuing education among employees. The work environment, work ethic, and opportunity make me I feel like family.

The Small Things Matter

My experience in the U.S. Air Force as a master mechanic and supervisor, learning the operation and function of every system on Blackhawk helicopters, taught me a lot about technology—and the critical importance of attention to detail.

In the military, I also learned to work well in high-stress environments, and to make quick decisions under pressure.

These are all qualities ICCI recognizes and values. The company saw my military experience as a good foundation for my job as Inventory and Equipment Manager. My current position with ICCI requires extensive technical knowledge and a lot of attention to detail. Working on helicopters gave me an extensive knowledge of mechanical work and theories of operation that apply to systems we work on in refineries every day.
